Episode 201: Exploring A Self-Projected Authority with Nadia Gabrielle
Human Design teaches us to embrace our individuality and that includes how we best make decisions. While some of us are guided by our emotions, others are guided by intuition. To know what approach is best for you, look to your Human Design Authority.
We’re continuing our series of exploring each authority by hearing from individuals who each represent one of the seven different authorities.
In this episode, I’m joined by returning guest, Nadia Gabrielle. Nadia first joined me in Episode 179 on Subconscious Capacity Building, one of her areas of expertise as she merges her with her decade-plus years of business experience in brand building, design thinking, service design to serve wellness creatives and those in the self-development space.
Nadia incorporates Human Design into her client work, which means she’s well-acquainted with all aspects of her Human Design, including her Self-Projected Authority.
You’ll hear Nadia share:
What is a Self-Projected Authority
How she experiments with and is led by her authority
How she balances her authority with her Type and Strategy (i.e., aura mechanics)
What it’s like to have a defined G-Center (the center of identity and direction)
How she uses incorporates her Human Design into how she runs her business
Episode 200: My Human Design Determination & Cognition
As introduced in the last two episodes, 198 and 199, in Human Design, your Determination and Cognition are how you nourish your brain and “digest” information.
In this episode, I share with you what my Determination and Cognition are from my own Human Design, how they resonated with me, reflections on the role they played in my life prior to knowing about Human Design, and how I integrate them today.
Episode 199: Your Human Design Cognition
Do you have a trait or “sense” that you excel at? It’s a knack that you have that not very many others possess.
Continuing our exploration of the Human Design Variables, in this episode, we take a look at Cognition.
You’ll hear:
What is Cognition in Human Design
Where Cognition fits into the Human Design variables framework and how corresponds to the other Variables
The six kinds of Cognition and how they show up
Episode 198: Your Human Design Determination
In the last episode, Episode 197, I introduced the Human Design Variables. In this episode, the second installment in this mini-series we take a look at the variable of Determination.
You’ll hear:
What is Determination in Human Design
How it fits into the framework and corresponds to the other Variables
The six kinds of Determination and the tones for each one
Episode 197: The Human Design Variables
Did you know that there’s an element in Human Design connected to digestion?
As a Functional Nutrition Health Coach that specializes in digestive and gut health, when I heard this, I was so intrigued that I just had to learn more.
Just as Functional Nutrition recalibrated my thinking to going beyond the surface to look at what’s at the root of everything, I quickly realized that this is what Human Design has come to do for me as well. It’s a deeper way to look after my well-being beyond what’s just on my plate.
And the Human Design Variables is yet another layer of how Human Design sheds light on our health in literal and energetic ways.
In this episode, I provide an overview of what the Human Design Variables are, and it kicks off a mini-series where we’ll explore each variable and how they complement each other.
Episode 196: Following Your Splenic Authority with Victoria Jane
I’m thrilled to be joined by returning guest, Victoria Jane! Victoria first appeared on the show back in Episode 130 and has since become my Human Design mentor, having been a part of her inaugural Human Design Coaching Certification program.
If you’re a Projector or Manifestor, then you may have a Splenic Authority (the only two Human Design Types this is possible for). The Splenic Authority is all about spontaneity, being in the moment, and trusting your intuitions - having a knowing that can’t always be explained.
In this episode, Victoria joins me for a candid conversation on our Splenic Authorities. You’ll hear us discuss:
The similarities and differences in our Human Design charts as both being Splenic Projectors
How we’ve each learned to recognize our Splenic intuition
How we’re both guided by our Splenic Authority and how it’s influenced life decisions
Episode 195: What A Sacral Authority Feels Like with Brent Reichenberger
Since diving into Human Design, I’ve held a fascination with the Sacral center - the source of life force energy. As a non-Sacral person, I’ve often wondered what that sustainable energy feels like and how does it feel to rely solely on your gut feelings to make decisions.
In this episode, I’m joined by my friend and fellow Human Design coach, Brent Reichenberger, a 1 /3 Pure Generator to enlighten me (and you) on what it’s like to have a Sacral Authority.
You’ll hear us discuss:
What is a Sacral Authority
How his Sacral Authority leads him on a daily basis
Differences we’ve both observed between being a Sacral vs non-Sacral being
And we even dive into our 1 / 3 Profile Lines
Episode 194: What Having an Emotional Authority Feels Like? with Sandy Yang
A frequently asked question I’m asked is the difference between an emotional and non-emotional person in Human Design. So in this episode, I’ve invited my friend, Sandy Yang, to join me for a conversation exploring this.
Sandy is a fellow Human Design coach, who works also encompasses brain rewiring and energy healing. While we’re both Projectors, Sandy has an Emotional Authority, while I have a Splenic Authority, making me a non-emotional in Human Design.
You’ll hear us discuss:
What is an Emotional Authority
How having an Emotional Authority shows up for Sandy on a daily basis
Differences we’ve both observed between being an emotional vs non-emotional being
What changes Sandy’s made since learning about Human Design
Episode 193: Human Design Profile Lines - What's Your Personality?
Human Design encourages us to explore our true selves versus our conditioned selves and embrace our natural gifts. Your Human Design Type is how our energy functions in the world, our Authority is how we’re meant to make decisions, and our Profile Lines are our personalities. It adds another “flavor” that, in combination with other parts of our design, makes us unique!
In this episode, we explore the six Profile lines and I share how learning about my Profile Lines 1 and 3 resonated with me.
