Why You Might Be Having Trouble Losing Weight
When it comes to losing weight, do you feel like you’ve tried everything?
You’ve tried….
…eating less
…low-carb diets
…low-fat diets
…exercising more or harder
And still, the weight doesn’t come off. Or it comes off, but doesn’t stay off? (Keep reading, because I have great news for you…)
I know how it feels to live with this struggle day in and day out.
I spent many years training for long-distance endurance events. I spent hours and hours - upwards of 7-12 hours every week training. I did short runs, long runs, interval workouts, weight training, TRX training, spinning, martial arts - pretty much everything under the sun. And yet, was unable to lose, and eventually even maintain my weight.
For years I beat myself up, thinking I was doing something wrong.
I thought I needed to work harder, workout more, eat less - and all that did was lead to overtraining and more stress, which then led Adrenal Fatigue, SIBO, and Leaky Gut Syndrome.
What I didn’t know at the time is that there were specific foods that my body was sensitive to and a combination of them that were interfering with my digestive process. These foods were wreaking havoc on my hormones and slowing my metabolic rate.
Making this discovery was a life-changer for me, and I was left wondering why I didn’t learn this earlier. When I learned about this it fascinated my curiosity and led me to attend nutrition school, and do the work that I do now.
Millions of Americans have some type of food sensitivity but have no idea.
Do you wonder if there are specific foods that may be causing you to hold onto unwanted weight?
In my upcoming free workshop, I’m going to get into the nitty gritty about these evils – what they are and how to identify if they might be affecting you.
